By installing or using SplitCheck, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
SplitCheck is a tool that helps you split a restaurant or retail bill among multiple people. You capture a photo of a receipt; we use AI to extract line items, tax, and tip; you and your guests pick what each person had; the app calculates who owes what. SplitCheck does not process any actual payments.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SplitCheck for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our backend prompts or API.
SplitCheck Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription unlocked through Apple's in-app purchase system. Free users receive 5 scans per calendar month at no cost. Pro removes that cap. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID Subscriptions settings.
AI extraction of receipt data is best-effort and may produce errors. You are responsible for reviewing the parsed items and totals before sharing or settling a split. SplitCheck does not guarantee the accuracy of any calculation and is not liable for disputes between you and your friends.
SplitCheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, particularly for the sddl.me sharing backend which may go down for maintenance or due to upstream provider outages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to SplitCheck shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free users, is $0).
We may terminate or restrict access if you violate these terms or abuse the service. You may stop using SplitCheck at any time by uninstalling the app.
